Miss Bui Bich Phuong – The first Miss Vietnam
Bui Bich Phuong was the first Miss Vietnam pageant when she was 17 years old, then she was a first-year student of the English Department of the University. With a modest height of 1m57 and three rounds of measurement at the time of the Miss contest, it was 86-60-88, up to the present time, Miss Vietnam 1988 is still considered “the shortest Miss in history”. However, Miss Bui Bich Phuong is loved by many audiences because of her gentle beauty and admirable knowledge.
After being crowned the highest title of Miss Vietnam 1988, Miss Bui Bich Phuong still worked hard to teach and translate with a salary of 500 VND/page to have money to cover tuition fees. A few years later, she received a scholarship to study in Korea to complete a master’s program at Seoul National University – the most prestigious university in Korea.
Although the foundation from the Miss Vietnam contest will be a big stepping stone for Bui Bich Phuong to enter the entertainment industry, she chose a stable office job in a large educational institution. In 2000, Miss Bui Bich Phuong fell in love with the doctor of economics Vu Thieu Giang, they had two children, Gia Hien and Phuong Anh.
Nguyen Dieu Hoa – Miss Vietnam 1990
Miss Vietnam 1990 Nguyen Dieu Hoa owns a little taller than Miss Bui Bich Phuong, she is 1.58 m tall and measures three rounds at the coronation is 81-61- 84. She is the owner of the throne. Miss Vietnam when she was a final year student of the Russian language department, Hanoi University of Foreign Languages.
After being crowned, Miss Vietnam 1990 continued her education. She completed her Master of Business Administration at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Thailand. It can be said that Miss Vietnam Nguyen Dieu Hoa is a beauty with admirable intellectual capital, she is fluent in five languages - English, French, Russian, Indian and Thai. In 2008, Nguyen Dieu Hoa participated in the Miss World pageant and achieved Top 5 overall.
After 3 years of coronation, Miss Vietnam 1990 decided to marry an Indian husband. Currently, the two are living a full life with three good and obedient children. Despite cultural differences, Miss Nguyen Dieu Hoa always receives sympathy and sharing from her husband. She always consciously reminds her children of their roots, using Indian and Vietnamese in communication.
