In particular, drug package A includes vitamins to strengthen the body’s resistance and antipyretic drugs. When the patient’s fever is above 38.5°C, antipyretic drugs will be used, and can be continued after 4-6 hours if the patient still has a fever. Vitamins take 2 times a day, 1 tablet each time. This pack of drug A will be used for 7 days.
Package B is enough for 3 days, including anticoagulants and anti-inflammatory drugs containing corticosteroids. Package B are drugs for use that must be prescribed by a doctor and are special drugs.

When using the drug in package B, the doctor emphasizes that the patient should only use it in some special situations, specifically, such as early signs of respiratory failure such as shortness of breath, difficulty breathing. find it more difficult to breathe, when at rest, the breathing rate is more than 20 times per minute or the blood oxygen level is less than 95%.
For these cases, when it is not possible to contact the doctor, the patient can take anti-inflammatory drugs or anticoagulants but not more than 3 days, and must contact the doctor for support.
The drug package C contains the antiviral drug Molnupiravir, which is currently in the testing phase of the research program of the Ministry of Health. Currently, the Drug Administration of the Ministry of Health has not issued a marketing authorization for Molnupiravir. But this antiviral drug has been clinically tested at Thong Nhat hospital and the results are quite positive.
The drug package C in the drug supply program for home treatment F0, has been directed by the Ministry of Health to be added to the drug bag for F0 home treatment, but in order to use the drug, certain conditions must be met.

Accordingly, patients to be dispensed and used this drug need to sign the “Consent form to participate in the community controlled use of Molnupiravir for people with mild COVID-19”.
Experts also stated that only F0s who have tested positive for SARS-COV-2, Rapid Test or RT-PCR have positive results or have mild symptoms such as respiratory rate less than 20 breaths/minute, blood concentration. Oxygen in the blood is higher than or equal to 96% before using the drug in package C.
Pack of drugs C take 4 tablets / 2 times a day, a total of 1,600mg a day, the amount of medicine dispensed in the pack is enough for 5 days. According to the research results, after 5 days of treatment, patients with moderate and mild Covid-19 will reduce their viral load and have a marked improvement, thus reducing the rate of hospitalization, or death.

To deliver to F0 who are being treated at home, Ho Chi Minh City has now prepared 150,000 bags of medicine including packages A and B and distributed 74,000 bags of medicine to the District Medical Center, Thu Duc City. The remaining medicine bags are known to be delivered to patients in the near future.
Particularly for package C, the Ministry of Health has so far only provided the City with 16,000 bags, so there will be a shortage of Molnupiravir, it is expected that in the near future, package C will be added with 34,000 more doses.
Accordingly, the drug Molnupiravir is a product of the American pharmaceutical company Merck and the German company Ridgeback. In Vietnam, an enterprise in Ho Chi Minh City has obtained a franchise of exploitation and production, this factory has also met GMP standards and is currently making documents to submit to the Ministry of Health. It is known that this business pledged to donate 2.3 million Molnupiravir pills to treat F0, corresponding to 116,000 doses.
