Anh Duong – a Vietnamese-born model has been selected to participate in the promotional campaign called “Welcome Home” by Thom Browne.
Recently, fashion brand Thom Browne has officially released a series of photos for a promotional campaign called Welcome Home. The model implementing this campaign is actor David Harbor (who is known for the series Hellboy, Stranger Things, Black Widow) and Vietnamese-born supermodel Anh Duong. The location of the shoot is the iconic Scottish house – Teviodale.
Anh Duong is one of the first Vietnamese-born models to succeed at the world fashion catwalk. Born in France, she has a Vietnamese father and a Spanish mother. Initially, she studied architecture while developing a ballet career.
When she was a ballet dancer, she was discovered by photographer David Seidner and officially became a fashion model. Duong has collaborated with Yves Saint Laurent, appearing on the Italian, American, French, German and British editions of Vogue. In addition, she has also posed for Harper’s Bazaar and Elle magazines.
Duong also has close relationships with many fashion houses such as Dolce & Gabbana, John Galliano, Moschino.
Currently at the age of 60, Anh Duong is still active in fashion under the management of the company IMG Models. However, she only received a few contracts, the rest of the time, Anh Duong focused on painting and organizing solo exhibitions.
