Facing the complicated situation of the Covid-19 epidemic in the southern region, the Central Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion organized a delegation of medical staff and doctors to go to Ho Chi Minh City to support the fight against the epidemic. With the spirit of support, before that, the Institute sent 4000 blood units to Ho Chi Minh City and Can Tho.
On the morning of August 15, the delegation (phase 1) of the National Institute of Hematology – Blood Transfusion got on a car to move to Noi Bai airport and took a flight to Ho Chi Minh City.
According to the plan, the Institute’s delegation will support the treatment of severe COVID-19 patients by Cho Ray Hospital (with a size of 1,000 beds) and perform other tasks as assigned.
