The promotional campaign for Salvatore Ferragamo’s Fall Winter 2021 collection has officially started. The Italian fashion house started the promotional series with a short film called A Future Together – was shot and directed by director Wim Wenders, a director who has won 3 Oscar nominations.
The film is about a young female director (Gaia Girace) shooting a sci-fi movie. She accidentally encounters the sound engineer (Felix Sandman). In the process of working, the two gradually fell in love with each other.
Throughout the length of the film, in turn, applied clothes that are exploited in the direction of Futuristic are shown. Neon green leather long coats, transparent plastic wide leg pants, and random plastic jumpsuits filled the collection.
Despite improvising with futuristic costumes, the Italian fashion house did not lose the delicate nature of each handmade item. The finest tailoring techniques are skillfully interwoven with future technologies.
Surely this new collection will breathe a new breath into the Salvatore Ferragamo brand, which is suffering from a lot of criticism for its conservativeness, extreme loyalty to its old-fashioned.
Salvatore Ferragamo was born in 1927 in Florence. During its nearly 100 years of establishment and development, the Italian fashion house has always been run by the children of the family. However, in May this year, investors decided to change the entire leadership of the fashion house and use outside people to increase the quality of the business. Although there have been many sources of information that Salvatore Ferragamo will be sold to a third party, the group’s representative has not officially spoken yet. All information is still at the level of speculation.
