“Pink House” is an impressive housing project with gentle pink tones from granite materials, combining highlights from a giant skylight and a super-wide swimming pool.
We invite you to follow us to Long Xuyen city (An Giang province) to visit the house of 2 sisters with a sweet name: “Pink House”. The project was designed by a team of architects of 23o5Studio, with a total area of 290m². The project focuses on exploiting the arrays of light and transitions in modern living spaces, including: Self-contained (privacy and security), expansion (discovery), quietness (life) for children. people can fully experience the space around them.
The living room – kitchen and dining area are linked together thanks to an open design solution, panoramic view overlooking the pool – where light transitions between day and night. The building is designed according to the vertical axis of the ground, the bedrooms have their own space to feel different. Every hidden corner in the house is a place to contemplate and enjoy the perfect values of nature.
The representative architect 23o5Studio shared, roughly: When contemplating the scene in the living space, we often tend to (and are dominated by) by serenity, peace, quietness and intimacy. Therefore, Pink House is designed by the team to exude the following characteristics:
– Each space is built with a specific function, but can actually serve many different purposes. In other words, a neutral scene is “activated” by people, making the size, proportions and usage all become a little “ambiguous” for inspiration and interest.
– The space is separated into different layers by homogeneous granite inside and outside, helping to blur the boundary. The team has calculated the design of the premises according to the purpose of use to ensure the comfort of the house. Architecture has a special material relationship with human life, acting as a “cover” and a foundation for life to unfold around it. A large open space with space connecting the sky and the building. This image has a metaphorical meaning of the smallness of man in front of the vast nature.
– Lighting in the house is purposefully set up with direct and indirect zones, separating the space into different parts: light, matter, transition, tranquility and temperature. These elements give “Pink House” a sense of peace and familiarity with the atmosphere of traditional Asian houses. The stillness in space is a condition for people to feel deeply about themselves, merging with heaven and earth into a unified whole.
