Nearly 10 years ago, a model refused to attend the show of designer Cong Tri because she was not satisfied with the costume design.
Designer Cong Tri is considered the eldest brother of the Vietnamese fashion village. At the present time, he is not only famous in the country but also extremely successful in the foreign market. Many world-famous customers such as diva Beyoncé, Rosé BLACKPINK, Miley Cyrus, Jennifer Hudson have worn Cong Tri’s designs with respect for the “father” who created them.
Nearly 20 years of rolling in the fashion industry, designer Cong Tri has had a firm foothold, affirming an irreplaceable position in the Vietnamese fashion village. Each of his shows is well received and appreciated by Vietnamese music fans. For the model world, participating in Cong Tri’s show is an opportunity to promote themselves, a big step to bring them closer to the door of fame.
Yet, 10 years ago, someone blatantly left Cong Tri’s show 1 hour before the show. The model whose actions caused “shock” to the long-legged world is the market girl Hong Que.
Accordingly, in August 2012, designer Cong Tri held the show No.5 with the presence of many famous long legs at that time such as Vo Hoang Yen, Hoang Thuy, Tra My and Hong Que. In order for the show to be complete, Cong Tri’s team meticulously edited each design to match the measurements of the models participating in the show. This means that no two outfits are the same and any change in the wings will ruin a team’s hard work.
However, anything can happen, just 1 hour before the show, Hong Que texted BTC that she could not attend the show due to health reasons. It is worth noting that before that, Hanoi’s long legs had not missed a rehearsal.
After this incident, the beauty said that it was true that she had health problems, but besides that, she was also not satisfied with the design of the costume because it covered the model’s face. Although Hong Que apologized to the organizers and designer Cong Tri, he directly rejected her presentation and claimed to “disappear” the female model.
Later, Hong Que continued to be the “thi phi” name of the Vietnamese model village, from controversial statements to offensive clothes showing off her body too much. Although still maintaining a certain name, but maintaining this way, not all models have the courage to choose and desire.
