It is known that you have just changed your career when opening your own company, can you talk about this new job after 10 years of pursuing acting?
Still an art-related job. AD Film – my company works on film production, TVC and TV series and future talent training. There are many projects that have been implemented, but due to the impact of the epidemic, my team and I are taking time to discuss and prepare more carefully. Hopefully when the epidemic is reversed, my company and I will bring to the audience many interesting and unexpected projects.
Anything new will also have many challenges. But I was fortunate to have a pretty good start when I received invitations to cooperate both domestically and internationally. When I was still active in art in the North, I wanted to build myself a company specializing in film production. Currently, with the consensus of my long-time associates in the industry, I look forward to working with the members to create many good products for the audience and bring AD Film’s own imprint. As for the name, I always feel happy when I can simply call myself Nguyen Anh Dung, whether it’s an actor, producer or director of ADFilm.
Working in parallel with acting and running an entire company with many employees, are you under a lot of pressure?
In work and life, if there is no pressure, we will not be able to try. The more pressure I faced, the stronger I felt. And I choose to deal with the difficulties in my life. I am grateful that those pressures have made me more mature.

It is impossible to stay in one position forever. I have drawn myself a path to go and a picture of my dream and I will conquer it. Every opportunity is appreciated. I don’t distinguish movies from TV series. Being an actor is my happiness. But choosing the right role for myself is something I pay great attention to.
I have no regrets with the path I have chosen because this is my dream. Movie audiences are more difficult, but if they are difficult, the artist will have higher demands on himself and the working crew will work harder. And I’ve always loved doing the hard things!
Happiness comes from the simplest things

Each person will have their own way of expressing themselves, I do not judge or impose anything. Really, for me, everything is just at the beginning of the journey ahead. She and I are both busy with work and life. It is not necessary to always show on social networks, understanding each other is okay.

I always think and have the opinion: Happiness comes from the simplest things, so being able to live and do meaningful things together is happiness.
Recently, his image has been associated with volunteer trips in Saigon during the epidemic season. Why do you choose to go to the street instead of being able to contribute at home?
I think each individual and each organization has their own way of doing charity. And in this moment, every job is worth it. At the beginning of the new epidemic, I rarely went out because I was busy building my own entertainment company and preparing for a few projects. But one day I had an unexpected job to go to District 7, on the way I saw too many poor people, at that time I was in a very confused mood and felt sorry for them.
I have one thought: What if I were them? I’m in dire need of someone else’s help. The epidemic has made it difficult for many businesses and the poor to become poorer because they will not be prepared at all. That’s when empathy and compassion appeared in me and I decided to do more useful things in life. A piece of the hungry in a package when no.
When I do this, my whole company joins hands and helps. So happy for that. My life has always been a journey and I am a person who likes to experiment and spend my time on useful things. During this time, besides volunteering, what do you prioritize?
During the time of separation, I still have online meetings on projects with the company, in addition to exercising, meditating at home and spending time reading books to learn more missing knowledge and develop myself.
I also feel more appreciative of the present and the people I love. I miss my parents and relatives in the North so much. I always hope that my parents and everyone are healthy and will be able to visit home soon when the epidemic is over.
Can you share a little bit about your plans for the near future?
In the future I will produce a series of film projects of different genres and challenge myself in more difficult roles. I hope that the products produced by my company will receive love from the audience. And the success will be the motivation for me to fulfill my bigger ambitions and help more people.
