Initially, interior designer Maria Nechaeva bought the 34m² apartment as a real estate investment. But then, she decided to manually renovate the small living space to turn it into a gift for her beloved mother. Mother Mary is also a knowledgeable person in the field of interior design. Therefore, the apartment is a synthesis of the style as well as the aesthetic taste of mother and daughter, creating a luxurious and warm living space full of meaning.
Because the apartment is quite small, just over 30m² and for 1 person, Maria and her mother decided to remove all the walls that they don’t need to create an open and airy layout. The space is scientifically designed with the bed placed in the alcove of the living room, partitioned by eye-catching mustard yellow and dark blue. The dining area is in the center, separating the living and cooking spaces, the working corner is located right at the bright window sill. In particular, the main storage system is installed in the hallway with the front of the cabinet door covered by narrow strips of mirrors with a vertical layout. This solution both helps to “duplicate” the space while taking advantage of the vertical stripe effect to “pull the ceiling” higher.
And now, we invite you to join us in to see the “gift” that the daughter designed for her beloved mother!
