Because there was no advantage in terms of location and area, the architects tried to optimize the alley space to increase the usable area, forming a plan with a cantilever structure suitable for the land plot. Because the owner’s desire is to open a small restaurant in the future, the functional elements on the ground floor are minimized to save the front area for this business plan.
The owner of the house is a young girl living with retired parents, so the design style is very light, simple and modern. The change in colors such as white, mint green, coral pink, … along with unique cubic details in the ceiling, walls, partitions or windows have contributed to creating an aesthetic impression for the house. house, making it stand out and different from other houses in the same alley. In addition to the basic functional areas, the architect team also designed a relaxation room to serve the interests of reading, playing music, painting,… for 3 members.
If the parents’ bedroom uses an elegant and gentle white color, the daughter’s room uses a fresh and youthful mint green tone. The rooms in the house are small but full of light from the skylight, balcony, … so it is very airy and comfortable, not creating a sense of mystery as we still imagine about the house in the alley. Another special feature is a small loft formed from the height difference between the bathroom block and the bedroom block.
It can be said that the architecture of the Alley House along with the interior design style has given the building a bright and modern beauty, turning the small house in the alley into a prominent highlight, a peaceful home. saddle of retired parents and daughter!
