The Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs has decided to support cases of F0 women who are born 1 million/child.
Decision No. 1013/QD-LDTBXH of the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs signed by Minister Dao Ngoc Dung on September 8 has been issued on support for children who are children of pregnant women infected with Covid-19. Accordingly, F0’s children born between April 27, 2021 and December 31, 2021 will be supported at the rate of one million VND/child.
At the same time, with the orphaned children; Children in difficult circumstances orphaned by the Covid-19 pandemic between April 27, 2021 and December 31, 2021 will also receive a support of 2 million VND/child. Accordingly, the funding used for this support is deducted from the Vietnam Children’s Fund.
Regarding the work of supporting children, the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs has also requested the People’s Committees of the provinces and centrally-run cities to conduct specific instructions to relevant local agencies in order to strictly adhere to standards and regulations on safety assurance, prevention and control of Covid-19 infection for children.
In which, Bo emphasized that priority should be given to treating and caring for children infected with Covid-19 at medical facilities; At the same time, it is necessary to take care of children in terms of both mental health and psychosocial well-being.
In addition, the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs has also suggested that the People’s Committees of provinces and cities should coordinate with the Vietnam Children’s Fund to promptly deploy, simplify procedures and create favorable conditions. Maximize advantages for the above-mentioned children so that they can receive support policies as quickly as possible.
It is known that during this 4th Covid-19 epidemic, it has seriously affected socio-economic development as well as people’s health, in which children and pregnant women are also seriously affected. .
Statistics from localities show that, as of August 31, 2021, the number of F0 children is 11,822 children and the number of F1 is 27,334 children.
The Covid-19 epidemic took place, causing children to be severely affected both mentally and physically. The reason is that many children have to study online for a long time, their nourishment resources are reduced, even many children are orphaned parents or have to live with relatives because their parents have to go to isolation, treatment, etc. or die from Covid-19.
