Compared to the average score of 2020, this year, the average test score of the High School Graduation Exam 2021 has increased by more than 0.1 points.
Behind Binh Duong is Nam Dinh with the average test score of the candidates is 6.90, An Giang is 6.84, Ninh Binh is 6.79, Ha Nam is 6.75, Vinh Phuc is 6.7.. The next positions belong to Bac Lieu, Ho Chi Minh City, Lam Dong and Hai Phong. Thus, Binh Duong and Nam Dinh swap positions of 1 and 2 for each other compared to 2020.
This year, in the top 10 provinces and cities with the highest scores in the country, there is no Hanoi. Hanoi stands at number 25, 17 steps behind Ho Chi Minh City. Particularly, Lam Dong replaced Can Tho’s position to reach the top 10 with an average score of 6.63.
According to the 2021 high school graduation exam regulations set out by the Ministry of Education and Training, the test is graded on a 10-point scale with the Literature essay exam, in which odd scores will be rounded to 2 decimal places. For the remaining exam subjects – multiple-choice exams when marking, for each test and each component of the combined test, it will be rounded to 2 decimal places.
In case the students are exempted from taking the foreign language test, they will be counted as equivalent to 10 points for recognition of high school graduation. In which, the prescribed high school graduation score includes the average score of the whole year of 12th grade and the scores of the graduation exams, priority and encouragement points (if any).
According to the regulations of the Ministry, all candidates have the right to review the exam after scoring. The deadline for submitting an application for re-examination is 10 days from the date of announcement of test scores (July 26 to August 5).
